About

Bogdan Barchuk is an offensive security specialist with roughly two decades in penetration testing, red teaming, and security engineering.

He is CTO and penetration test lead at CQR, where he builds penetration testing strategies for on-premises infrastructure and internal and external networks, writes custom exploits and automation tooling for his team, and runs security testing of OT networks and SCADA systems. Before CQR he was Senior Penetration Tester at EPAM Systems, leading the security team through assessments and incidents and covering the full OWASP Top 10, API testing, IoT devices, and mobile app and API analysis.

He spent two and a half years as Senior Penetration Tester at a national Ministry of Transport and Communication — building OSINT tooling, tuning web vulnerability scanners, writing Python automation for network and web scanning, and producing advisories on 0-days and CVEs — and three years with a Department of Cyber Police doing Active Directory penetration testing, forensics automation, and full-cycle incident response. Earlier, as CTO of the Cryeye project, he built a Python and Docker based platform for cybersecurity automation.

Certifications: CEH Master, OSCP, OSWE, OSCE, SSCP, CISM, CISP, CREST, VAPT. Bachelor's degree in IT security, University of Ontario Institute of Technology.

In the bootcamp he teaches OpenClaw setup and hardening, plus cybersecurity from both sides — how to secure the AI agents students deploy, and how an attacker would break them.
